Unterwelt refers to the movie 'Unterwelt', a lost work by russian movie pioneer Sergej Eisenstein.
A search about Eisenstein and Unterwelt delivers a bunch of obscure results, actually Eisenstein has never shoot this movie.
However, the film plays a keyrole in the book "Underworld" from Don Delillo, and reportedly Eisenstein made them underhand in Mexico, during production of another movie - "Que Viva Mexixo".
Until today it isn't completly clear, wether the mexican-anonymous artgroup l'asam had a relation to Unterwelt.
As Glen Goulds pianoplay has been driven through ringmodulators in Kelvins Raahs unterworld, Eisenstein met Getrude Stein at 1929, though Glen Gould didnt met Eisenstein.
Sergey Eisenstein and Glen Gould both died at the age of 50.
